Loot at District Hospital Poonch
JKIM delegation called on DC Poonch, demands for stop of lootPoonch, Authorities of Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital Poonch have now start to loot the common masses against the entry in the hospital side. A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Insaaf Movement under the chairmanship of Javid Iqbal Reshi, the chairman of the movement today called on Deputy Commissioner Poonch Sh. Rahul Yadav and discussed the matter in detail. In a detail dialogue with Deputy Commissioner Mr. Reshi said, more than 90% of Poonch people are belonging to the Below Poverty Line who are unable to pay fees of private hospitals and personal clinics of doctors for treatment. He said, “these poor masses often visit to said hospital where hospital administration is taking rupees 10/- from every visitor against one visit as “Gate Pass” fee. If a peraon visit twice of thrice in the hospital to meet his relative or to give him help, hospital administration takes rupees 10/- for each visit which is loot”, Reshi said. He urged that the such loot must be stop at an earliest nevertheless Insaaf Movement will take aggressive step against district administration and hospital administration. Later, Deputy Commissioner Poonch assured the deputation to discuss the matter with Chief Medical Officer and other concerns and will take necessary action. Others who accompanied the delegation were Abdul Rashid Shahpuri vice president, Mohd Rashid Secretary, Ajaz Ahmed Katarya distt. Gen Secretary, Maroof Chouhab block president Lassana, Mohd Saleem Khari, Mohd Ilyas Malik and many others.
