Rajouri, August,22:District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today conducted a meeting with the officers of Agriculture department and Rural Development Department to review the progress of the important schemes being implemented by the Concerned departments.
While taking review of the PM-KISAN,the chief Agriculture officer informed that there are total 67800 farming families in the district.He added that a total of 44716 families have been covered under the scheme.He further informed that 11340 forms have been uploaded till date and the process of uploading of the remaining forms is in progress.The DDC took block wise number of beneficiaries registered under the scheme till date. He directed the concerned officers to include all the eligible beneficiaries as per the new guidelines and set a deadline of 05 september for uploading the names of all the beneficiaries.
While taking review of the schemes like 14th Finance Commission,Status of work identified during the ambitious and unique programme Back to Village,clearance of pending liabilities and generation of FTO in respect of all the blocks,construction of bunkers etc.
Regarding 14th FC, District Panchayat Officer Abdul Khabir informed that the funds to the tune of ₹ 50 crores under the 14th Finance Commission has been by the received by the district and later the funds have been transferred to the panchayats accounts.As for as initiation of works under 14th FC it was informed that the plan under 14th FC has been prepared by the gram panchayats and the work on the approved plan will be started soon.
In connection with Back to Village, Assistant Commissioner Development,Akhtar Qazi informed that 312 works have been prioritized in district and the work on the same would be started within weeks time.
Regarding the FTO generation, the DDC expressed huge dismay over the poor performance of block darhal, Planghar,thanamandi and khawas and asked the concerned BDOs to gear up the work as soon as possible.He directed the BDOs to ensure 90% generation of FTOs shortly.
While taking stock of bunker construction,the DDC informed that 200 additional bunkers under languishing have been approved today. He directed the BDOs to start the work on these newly sanctioned bunkers within one week time as per the identified sites.
The meeting was attended by Chief planning officer,Assistant Commissioner Development Akhter Qazi,District Panchayat officer Dr.Abdul khabir,Executive Engineer REW Rajouri division and concerned block development officers.
