*DDC Rajouri reviews progress under PM-KISAN Yojana* _62639 Farm operating Families covered _ _Mega awareness camps on PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana(PM-KMY) on September,09_

Rajouri,September,06:In order to review the progress achieved under PM-KISAN scheme,the District Development Commissioner,Rajouri,Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting of concerned officers here in his office chamber.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is an initiative by the government of India in which all small and marginal farmers get up to ₹6,000 per year as minimum income support.This income support is transferred directly into their bank accounts in three equal installments of Rs.2,000 each.

During the meeting the District Informatics officer informed that there are total 67800 farming families in the district out of which a total of 62639 have been covered under the scheme and the process of uploading of the remaining forms is in progress.He further informed that the total first level accepted data is 54660.

The DDC sought a detailed report of the progress achieved under the said scheme from all the subdivisional agricultural officers who inturn briefed the DDC about the number of beneficiaries registered till date under the scheme in their respective subdivisions including 14693 in Rajouri subdivision,14500 in Darhal,7035 in Budhal,13345 in Nowshera and 9725 in Kalakote subdivision.

While speaking during the meeting,the DDC directed the SDAOs for online updating of all the eligible beneficiaries under PM-KISAN at the earliest so that the eligible beneficiaries can be benefitted under the scheme.He asked the concerned officers to sort out the ineligible persons from the list so that the deserving farmers can avail themselves of the scheme.

He asked Sub divisional Agriculture officers to collect the forms after proper verification of left out farmers and submit to NIC through Chief Agriculture officer for further uploading of the data.

He directed the concerned officers to clear all the pendencies regarding the uploading of data on the portal by 12th september,2019.

It was decided that the department of agriculture shall organise mega awareness camps in all the blocks of the district on 9th september 2019 to disseminate information among the farmers about various centric and state government schemes of agriculture like PM-KISAN,PM-MANDHAN scheme,Fasal Bima yojana etc.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissoner Rajouri,Sher Singh,Chief planning officer Shama un Ahmed,District Informatics officer Muzaffar Hussain,District Agriculture officer Shashi kant Sharma,lead district manager Sunil kumar Sharma and subdivisional agriculture officers.
