DDC Poonch discuss Flagship Programme with BDC Chairperson.



Poonch,March 10: District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav today convened a joint meeting of different district officers and the Block Development Chairperson regarding various flagship schemes of the Government here in the conference Hall of DC Office complex.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, SE Hydraulics, CEO Municipality, Chief Education officer, Chief Medical officer, Chief Agriculture and sheep husbandry officer, Executive agencies,Assistant Commissioner Labour, DPO, Social welfare Officer, Chief Medical Officer, CEO Tourisim, Bank officers beside other concerned officers and all BDC chairperson.

During the meeting, DDC had detailed review of progress on implementation of Ayushman Bharat, PM Kissan, PMSYM, skill development/Entreneurship schemes, Nai Manzil Scheme, Nai Roshni Scheme, Ujwal Youjana, social welfare and minority scheme, Deendayal Viklang Punarwaas, KCC and various flagship schemes in the district.

In the meeting, DDC asked BDC Chairpersons to motivate and enroll maximum persons in various flagship Schemes. He further informed the meeting that the aim of the meeting is to bridge the gap between the BDC Chairpersons and District officers. He asked BDC Chairpersons to make every possible effort for ensuring 100% Coverage of government Flagship programmes.

The DDC also instructed that there should strict adherence to allocation while formulation of plan.The DDC reiterated that the objective of convening the meeting was that the planning process could be strengthened with the involvement of the BDC chairpersons.The DDC asked the chairpersons to submit the plan at the earliest.

During the meeting, DDC instructed the officer to organise an awareness camp and aware the general public about the schemes so that they can get maximum benefit.The DDC also asked the District Panchayat Officer to ensure the Participation of all the BDC Chairperson in awareness meetings so that desired results could be achieved.

DDC stressed on officers to complete the registration of left out beneficiaries within the stipulated timeline.
