The former VC informed that there are several people including government employees, students, patients and attendants hailing from remote districts of Jammu region who were in Jammu city but who could not reach their native villages due to lock down and restrictions announced by the local administration.

Making a fervent appeal to the J & K UT administration, he demanded that all these people who are stuck here in Jammu district are now running out of money and are compelled to stay in Jammu.

Many of them are without food, medicine and proper shelter, therefore the UT government, the social activists and NGOs should come forward and make arrangements for departure of these stranded passengers to their respective destinations.
