India Fights Corona : Poonch police pays respect to frontline workers


April 28: Under the theme ‘India Fights Corona’, Jammu and Kashmir police in Poonch district paid respect to frontline workers by holding placards infront of Poonch district hospital as well as other locations.

Event were held in coordination with J&K health and medical services.

Outside Poonch district hospital, senior officers of police including Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch Sh.Ramesh Angral, Additional Superintendent of Police Farooq Qaiser, Deputy SP Ops, Munish Sharma, Deputy SP DAR Sheezan Bhat, Deputy SP CDB, Azeem Qureshi, SHO Poonch whereas officers from health department including Medical Superintendent Dr. Shamim Bhatti ,doctors, paramedical staff and officials of municipality Poonch including Ceo muncipality Sh.Garu Ram assembled in hospital alongwith volunteers.

Holding placards, the participants paid respect to all frontline workers who include personnel from police and para military, officials of health department, municipal sanitation workers, civil administration officers and all other officials as well as volunteers who are a part of COVID19 management and prevention.

Senior SP Poonch, Sh.Ramesh Angral said that every frontline worker of COVID19 fight is a pride of nation and its responsibility of every citizen of India to pay respect to them.

He further enlisted a number of measures being taken by police to help needy families in this tough time.
