Arty Regt at Mendhar provides medical and administrative assistance to war widows and ex servicemen .



POONCH 15 May: In these challenging times when the entire country is suffering under COVID-19 pandemic, Indian Army continues to show solidarity with its Veterans and Veer Naris. Under Operation Namaste of Indian Army, Artillery Regiment at Mendhar conducted medical screening for war widows and ex servicemen, including children, from remote and far flung villages situated near LoC and provided Masks, Gloves, Ration supplies and other essential items to them. Doctors from the Army also educated those present on ways and means to prevent the spread of Corona virus in the community. In line with the ethos of service before self, Indian Army continues to support the local administration in providing medical and administrative aid to those who are most badly affected by this pandemic.
