14 shopkeepers booked for violation of lockdown restrictions

Police in Rajouri have booked fourteen shopkeepers from Sunderbani for violation of restrictions of lockdown imposed by authorities due to Corona Virus pandemic.

Police said that a team from Sunderbani police station headed by SHO Sanjeev Slathia was on routine patrolling at Thanda Pani and Bhajwal areas of Sunderbani on Saturday late evening.

During patrolling, police said, fourteen shopkeepers were found violating the restrictions after which all fourteen traders have been booked in a police case in Sunderbani police station.

The traders include Chuni Lal resident of Marchola, Raju Sharma resident of Chani Prat, Amandeep Singh resident of Thandapani, Amit Sharma resident of Thandapani, Suresh Kumar resident of Rawarian Tala, Dushant Kumar resident of Rewarian Tala, Chinta Mani resident of Thandapani, Arun Kumar resident of Bhajwal, Ashok Kumar resident of Sodra, Vijay Kumar resident of Bhajwal, Gulshan Kumar resident of Neela Dub, Hans Raj resident of Piali, Rajat Kumar resident of Sodhra, Munshi Singh resident of Thandapani.

All have been booked under section 188 IPC for violating orders of District Magistrate in Sunderbani Police Station.
