UT vice President Jammu and Kashmir Mahela Morcha Smt Rumaisa Rafiq greets the people, especially the Kashmiri Pandit community on the occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani.
While expressing her greetings the above dignity said that the holy festival is a sign of brotherhood and communal harmony among people. “This festival marks unity in diversity among various pluralistic cultures.
The UT vice president prayed for this festival to bring peace, progress, prosperity, joy and happiness among the people of J&K. In her statement she termed Kashmiri Pandits an important part of J&K’s pluralistic tradition and said that this culture is incomplete without the them.
“Smt Rumaisa Rafiq appealed the people for maintaining social distance, regular sanitation and frequent hand washing to defeat covid-19 and wished them from the deepest of her heart.
