Illegal liquor manufacturing gang busted in Rajouri’s Teryath
Four person arrested with 20 litres of liquor

The Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district have arrested four person who were part of a gang involved in illegal manufacturing and sale of liquor in Teryath village area of Rajouri.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Chandan Kohli said that a team of police headed by Police Post Incharge Tetyath, Ajaz Mirza under the supervision of SHO Dharamsal Rajinder Sharma, SDPO Nowshera Zakir Shaheen Mirza and Addnl SP Nowshera GL Sharma was on routine patrolling in Khatini village of Teryath when some person were seen present at a location who tried to escape from the spot soon after noticing the cops.
However, alert cops intercepted all four person and recovered 20 litres of liquor and 90 litres of Lahaan from their possession.
The utensils used in distillation unit have also been seized by police.
All four person have been arrested who include Pritam Lal, Pawan Kumar and Bittu Kumar, sons of Paras Ram, and Suresh Kumar son of Prem Kumar all resident of Kathini Teryath.
A case under relevant sections of law have been registered against the accused in Dharamsal police station and investigation of the matter is going on.
