Progressive Youth Forum founder member Rakesh Kumar poet appeal to students and youth for blood donation

Keeping in view the lockdown enforced to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, PFY Founder Member has requested its Progresive Youth Forum units as well as students across the Union Territory of Jammu and kashmir to donate blood at their nearest hospital. Progressive Youth Forum understands its social responsibilities in such difficult times.

Progressive Youth fourm Founder member Rakesh Kumar poet himself donated his blood to one needy patient at Naryana Hospital Katra and set an example of humanity today.

Progressive Youth Forum Chairman Pawan Dev Singh said, “Due to the ongoing lockdown, people are unable to approach hospitals for voluntary blood donations, which has resulted in reduced inventories that is why we have taken this initiative to appeal to more and more people to donate blood. We will connect with local hospitals and facilitate blood donation in co-ordination with local Administration.”
