CEASEFIRE VIOLATION BY PAKISTAN

Jammu: 11 Jun 2020 Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the line of control (LoC) in Rajouri Sector on 10 Jun 2020. Own troops responded strongly to the enemy fire. In the incident, Naik Gurcharan Singh was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries. Naik Gurcharan Singh belonged to Village Harchowal, District Gurdaspur, Punjab. Naik Gurcharan Singh was a brave, highly motivated and a sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
