Two killed, six injured in Rajouri mishaps

Rajouri, June 18 : Two teenage girls were killed while six persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Rajouri district on Thursday.

Police told news agency that an accident took place at Niali village of Manjakote while the other mishap took place at Kalali area. “In both the accidents, the vehicles plunged into gorge,” police said.

In accident at Kalali, two teenage girls were killed while two others received injuries, police said adding that the two injured persons are undergoing treatment and are out of danger.

The deceased teenage girls have been identified as Anisa Quyoom daughter of Mohammad Quyoom and Mahmoona Akhter daughter of Razaq Ahmed, both residents of Deri Ralyote village of Manjakote.

In another accident, four persons have received injuries and all are out of danger.

Police said to have registered two separate cases under relevant sections of law in Manjakote Police Station. Agency
