MENDHAR, With the burning of transformer at Gursai Bhaidara village of Sub Divsion Mendhar , the public is without power for the last about three weeks.
The people of the area who are facing lot of difficulties due suspension of power supply during these days. The locals have repeatedly approached the senior PDD officers at Mendhar and Poonch but the supply could not be restored even after 21 days. The transformer is still at the same place.
Ex Sarpanch Ashfaq Hussain Shah said that PDD officials have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate on roads.
They appealed to the DDC Poonch and Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to issue instructions to the concerned officers to replace the burnt transformer.
