MENDHAR Sep: Members of the civil society today accorded warm farewell to outgoing Sub Divisional Police officer SDPO , Neeraj Padyaar( KPS), who has been transferred to the Dysp Traffic City Jammu.Apart from members of different Social workers and Civil Society, senior officers including SDM Mendhar Dr Sahil Jandyal Tehasildar Mendhar Dr Vikram Raina, SHO Mendhar M Kohli SHO Gursai Kamal Singh and Others were present on the occasion.
Addressing the programme, outgoing SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Pa dyaar said that all the civil society of mendhar helped him a lot in policing and in streamlining the system.He added that media has played an important role in exposing wrongdoing and highlighting people’s grievances in mendhar.
A large number of senior citizens and elders of Mendhar took part in the programme, who said the tenure of SDPO Neeraj Padyar in Mendhar will be written in golden words “as he is man of principles and was not less than a nightmare for trouble creators”.They highly appreciated his role in anti-drug drive during which several notorious drug peddlers were put behind bars.DySP Sayeed Zaheer Jafri takes over as Sub Divisional Police Officer Mendhar reliving DySP Neeraj Padyar on Friday.
