COVID-19 SURAKSHA KENDRA ESTABLISHED AT JHANGAR AND MAKRI, DISTRICT RAJOURI

Jammu: 12 Dec 2020 Indian Army facilitating villagers in the border areas to effectively fight and prevent spread of COVID-19. Essential kits were provided for establishing the COVID Suraksha Kendra in Jhangar and Sher villages of Nowshera, District Rajouri. This initiative will help locals in spreading awareness to fight COVID-19. It will also integrate them by becoming self-reliant for effective monitoring as well to undertaking preventive measures.

Suraksha Kendras have been kitted with medical equipment and stores like Infrared Thermometers, Hygiene Kit containing Masks, Gloves and Liquid Hand Wash, Hygiene Chemical, Phenyl, Bleaching Powder, Manpack 15 Ltr Spray Pump Machines, Nebulisers, Steam Inhalers, Pulse Oximeter, Portable Stretchers as well as allied infrastructure. The inaugural ceremony was attended by prominent representatives of six nearby villages. The efforts of the Indian Army to assist the villagers in battling COVID19 pandemic highly appreciated by the local populace.
