COVID19 vaccination starts successfully in Poonch

Poonch: ,January,16:District Administration Poonch under the overall supervision of the District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav on Saturday simultaneously with the address of the Prime Minister to the Nation started the COVID19 vaccination drive in the district.

The Department of Health and Family Welfare Poonch organised the vaccination drive at District Hospital Poonch and CHC Surankote which was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Rahul Yadav.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. G.A Malik, Medical Superientended, Dr Mushtaq, Dr Rahul Sharma, all doctors other officers and officials of the Health Department were present on the occasion.

To ensure that the vaccine is safe for public use,the BMO surankote along with other health officers and officials got vaccinated on the occasion and no adverse effect of the vaccine was observed.

It was informed that all the arrangements for the smooth and hassle free conduct of the vaccination campaign in the district have been put in place and concerted efforts are being made to ensure the cent percent eradication of COVID19 pandemic from the district through vaccination.

Deputy Commissioner while speaking on the occasion said that the introduction of the vaccine for CoronaVirus will help save precious human lives from the deadly enemy of mankind.He added that the need of the hour is to show constructive approach and work in synergy in tackling the COVID19 pandemic.

Deputy Commissioner also appreciated the authorities of the Health Department for providing 24/7 and tireless services to the public amid COVID19 and urged upon them to work with the same zeal for the welfare of the common masses.He also asked the concerned to work with proper dedication and in a mission mode and make best efforts to ensure the successful conduct of the vaccination drive in the district.
