Covid-19: Jammu University cancels entrance test

In view of the current Covid situation, Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET-2021) shall not be held this year also for the fresh admissions to various courses in the university.A notification in this regard was issued today, according to which the admission to various UG/PG Programmes/courses of JU, its offsite campuses and affiliated colleges, falling under the ambit of JUET shall be done on the basis of the academic merit earned by the applicants in the qualifying examination.It may be recalled that JUET-2020 was also not held because of Covid pandemic and the admissions were accorded on the basis of academic merit of the candidates.
