Discussed Post Matric Scholarship Issue at length
POONCH. Ch Mohd Asad Noomani met Mr Musheer Ahmed Mirza Director Tribal Affairs Department and discussed the issue of post matric scholarship which has not been released till now.
Worthwhile to mention that tribal students have been suffering badly due financial crunch which was further aggravated by COVID19 which led to extra burden on their families which are unable to meet educational expenses of their children.
Director TAD ensured that Post Matric Scholarship for tribal students will be released soon. He added that we are into the final stage of releasing it and 15-20 odd days will be taken to credit into the accounts of students. He further ensured to streamline the scholarship issues to let students meet their educational expenses to continue their studies.
Pardeep Khanna Chairman Saraswati Kala kender and Ad Sajjad Ex Gen. Secy Bar Association Poonch also requested the Worthy Director Tribal affairs to release the post matric scholarship at the earliest, so that those students should not suffer who are Aspirant of seeking the admission for higher studies out of state.Joint Director Planing (Tribal Affairs) Shamun Ahmed also remained present in the meeting and he jot down the genuine demands put forth by the chairman Sarimastaan Tribal Welfare Foundation Asad Noomani .
