Persons with negative report exempted from testing at Lakhanpur

District administration Kathua has ordered exemption from covid testing of persons having negative RTPCR report at Lakhanpur.

“As per communication received from Divisional Commissioner Jammu, it is hereby ordered that all passengers entering J&K carrying the covid RT-PCR negative report for the test conducted during the last 48 hours may be allowed hassle free movement without subsequent testing at Lakhanpur as well as railway station, Kathua,” reads the order issued by District Magistrate Kathua and Chairman DDMA, Rahul Yadav.

Yadav told Greater Kashmir that people with covid negative report of not more than 48 hours, will be allowed to enter into J&K through Lakhanpur without them being subjected to subsequent covid testing.

Today, 6500 people were tested for covid19 on their entry at Lakhanpur, he informed.
