Meet a govt. employee who hasn’t received his salary of Rs. 25 since 2017

Nazir Ahmad, a person working as a peon in Government Middle School at Bandi Heril has a monthly wage of Rupees 25. According to him, he hasn’t received his salary since 2017 which has brought him financially down.

“I was appointed as a peon in 1995 on a monthly wage of Rs. 25. In 2017, my Department Head was changed. I haven’t received my salary since then. The seniors make me do the duties of a watchman, peon and sweeper too. These days online classes are being conducted still I do all my work in the Campus.” Nazir said

“My files are going from ZEO office to Direction office and vice versa. I went to the concerned officers ‘n’ number of times but no one cares to listen to a poor man. I even got physically beaten for asking for my right.” He added

Nazir has 4 kids. Their expenses have become a difficult responsibility for him. For him Allah is his saviour.

“I don’t have money to feed my family. It is just public help and Allah’s blessings that has kept me alive. I request LG Sir to help me in this difficult phase and at least provide my salary.” He said
