2 missing women reunited with their family after months in J&K

The Kathua police on Tuesday claimed to have traced two missing women and reunited them with their families.

Police said, “On January 17, a missing report was lodged at police station Bani by the the husband of Nano Devi.”
“Accordingly a missing report was lodged at police station Bani on January 17 and a search was
started to trace her,” police added.

Police added that in another instance, a missing report was lodged at Rajbagh police station on Fabruary 25 in respect of a missing woman namely Ruksana Begum, wife of Altaf Hussain of Chabba Chack-Marheen.

The concerned police continued searches and the missing woman was traced on Tuesday.

“After completion of all legal formalities, the both ladies were handed over to their legal heirs,” police said.
