Son drowns in Chenab, goes missing; Family pleads for help

Lakshya Kadalbujoo, a 21 year old B.Tech student belonging to Bantalab area of Jammu went missing on Tuesday evening. According to the family, he went near Chenab river with two of his friends for a celebration, however, didn’t return home.

Lakshya’s friends informed his Parents that while playing with water, he reached the other side of the river and couldn’t bear the water flow. They tried to save him but couldn’t.

His Mother contacted Gharota Police Station. A search operation was conducted on Tuesday evening by SHO Gharota and continue on Wednesday morning by SDRF team. However, Lakshya hasn’t been found yet.

“So many rescue teams, so many facilities, still my son is missing. I request Police and LG Sir to help us find him.” said Lakshya’s Father

“It’s his birthday today. He’ll be in pain. Nothing worse than us. Please give us our son.” cried his Mother

The family has requested people to come forward for help. If anyone finds Lakshya anywhere, they can contact at 9682589912 or 7838394019.
