In a drive against the sale of banned synthetic threads (manja) various raids were conducted in different locations by Jammu Police. On this special police teams of PS Janipur Inspr. Nayat Ali raided the said shops and recovered 100 rolls of synthetic threads (manja) on second consecutive day.
On this, case FIR No 90/21 u/s 188 IPC got registered at PS Janipur. The arrests were made in violation of DM order regarding ban on sale of plastic/synthetic threads (manja).
Following persons were arrested in the above cases:
Suraj Kumar S/o Harbans Lal R/o Near Edu Board Sarwal
The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO West Sh. Rahul Nagar.
Further investigation of the cases is going on.
Public is requested to share information with Police on real time basis regarding sale of synthetic thread so as to check its sale in district Jammu.
