Gandhi Nagar Police arrested a man for harassing a girl and demanding sexual favours from her.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a girl with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that a man identified as Arun Kumar alias Kaka, son of Pancham Singh, a resident of Chiralla District Doda, at present Sector 6 Model Town Gangyal District Jammu, harass and follow her also demands sexual favours.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 231/2021 under Section 354-D IPC has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
On reliable information, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar under the supervision of SHO Inspector Bharat Sharma conducted raid and apprehended the accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
