Students protest outside Div Com office, restrict Deputy Commissioner to enter

12th pass students today protested outside the Divisional Commissioner office in Jammu. Raising slogans, the students told Media that they are compelled to protest for getting admission in their own UT.

“We all have scored good marks in 12th class and still not getting admissions. Getting deprived with basic educational rights – is this what the Government is capable of?” said a student

The students further added that the Vice Chancellor refused to help them with the matter saying he doesn’t have the authority to help them.

Covering the entrance of Divisional Commissioner office, they restricted the entry of Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg inspite of the Police force insisting them to get up.
