Three accused of stealing medicines and cash by breaking into the drug agency KS Pharma in Raghunathpura have been arrested by the city police. Police have also recovered stolen medicines and 80 thousand rupees from the three accused, and the accused have been identified as Rahul Sharma, Anurag Sharma and Akhil Sharma, all three residents Ratnal, Bishnah.
The complaint of this theft incident was lodged by the owner of the agency, Suraj Kumar, resident of Kot Mora Badhani Bhalwal, on Monday. Suraj Kumar told the police that thieves broke into the same agency and stole medicines and Rs 80,000 cash from there. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case, and with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the area, the police traced the thieves.
The accused had brought the vehicle in which they had taken the medicines by putting them. When the police arrested the three accused and started interrogation, they confessed to the theft based on CCTV footage. At the behest of the accused, the police have started further action after recovering the medicines and cash. SDPO North Sharad Kalu says that the vehicle used by the accused in the crime has also been confiscated.
