CBI nabs two MES Enggs in bribery case at Jammu

The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) today arrested two Engineers posted in Military Engineering Services (MES) at Satwari Cantonment while taking corruption of Rs 20,000 red handed from a contractor.

They have been identified as Assistant Garrison Engineer (AGE) Mohammad Imranullah posted in Buildings and Roads Division-I and Junior Engineer Mahesh Chander Gangwar.

They were arrested by the CBI while taking corruption of Rs 10,000 each from a contractor for settling his payment.

After arresting the duo, the CBI searched their office premises and other locations.

A case has been registered against them for further investigations.
