INDIAN ARMY ORGANISES FREE MEDICAL,DENTAL AND VET CAMP

POONCH: Indian Army has been relentlessly working towards upliftment of the society through many Sadbhavana projects. Surankote Tehsil of Poonch District, J&K is underdeveloped and lacks infrastructure for basic health and hygiene.

The army has taken up various welfare schemes under Op Sadbhavana for upliftment of this area. One of the focus areas has been to Conduct of Medical, Dental & Veterinary Camp at Marhot. Peoples & pet animals of this village are suffering from lack of medical facilities, Medical, Dental & Veterinary Vet camp to address health issues faced by the people & pet animals of this area is a noble way to connect with the masses and outreach at the farthest corners.

Army medical doctors & civil veterinary doctors were invited for conduct of the event. This act will also be an additional factor for winning the hearts and minds of the locals. This initiative of Indian Army has been highly appreciated by the local.
