MENDHAR: Feb 2: Medical camps set up by the Indian Army prove to be very beneficial for such people in remote and backward areas where health services are not accessible, where people cannot even go to the hospital.On one hand, while the Indian Army deployed in the security of the country have a ready relationship, they are also capable of providing every facility to every citizen living in the country without any problem and make every effort to help, the example of which is today Got to see.

A medical, dental and veterinary camp was organised at Salwah to provide quality medical, dental and veterinary advice and medicines for the villages of Chhatral, Salwah, Banola, Chapartala, Nadol and Chhunga of Tehsil Mendhar on 02 Feb 2022 by the local Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force Romeo.

The camp besides projecting the humane face of Indian Army also addressed the health issues of the population alongwith their treatment. The aim of conducting the medical, dental and veterinary camp was to provide medical cover to civil population and treating the ailments of the animals thereby improving the overall economy in the area.

An estimated civs and their families & animals from various Mohallas of nearby villages were benefitted from the camp. A team of doctors from Army Medical Corps, from Army Dental Corps, Remount & Veterinary Corps from civil administration attended the patients.

The efforts of Army in organizing the Medical, Dental and Veterinary Camp for civilians of remote areas and providing a healing touch to the needy were applauded by one and all. The aged and the infirm who could not traverse long distances for specialised treatment were benefited the most by this quality medical care.
