Firing incident at Jammu’s Phalayan Mandal: Two injured

A gun firing incident has been reported from the Phalayan Mandal area of Jammu in which two men have been injured, and the police have arrested the one who fired the gun.

An argument broke out among the three of them engaged in a property dealing business, after which the accused fired five rounds of shots resulting in injuring the other two.

The injured, identified as Bhushan Giri and Jagdish Giri, are brothers. They were immediately rushed to the Government Medical College Jammu.

Police have caught hold of the accused, identified as Raj Kumar. The police officials have also recovered a weapon from the accused’s possession.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
