Two persons were killed and one injured when a luxurious car they were travelling in met with an accident in Sidhra belt here on city outskirts, police said on Thursday.
They said that one car (JK02CQ-8145) on its way from Narwal towards Sidhra late last night met with an accident near Golf course gate when one tractor suddenly entered the wrong tube in a rash and negligent manner and hit the car.
“Both the occupants in the car suffered critical injuries and were rushed to the GMC Jammu but declared as dead by the doctors,” police added.
The deceased were identified as Aman Dev Singh and Tarun Bali, residents of New plot.
The injured namely Kunal Sharma of Panjtirthi is under treatment, police said.
Police have registered a case and started the investigation.
