Shrimad Bhagwat Katha starts in Mendhar Kalash Yatra

Poonch/Mendhar: A huge “Kalash yatra” was taken out with great enthusiasm and religious fervour, to mark the celebrations of Sathapana Divas which is sheduled to be held at Hanuman Mandir in Border Sub Division Mendhar town in Poonch District. The yatra started from Mata gohlad lower Town headed by Shri Shri 1008 Atal Pethadeshwar Rajguru Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Shri Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati ji Maharaj accompanied by scores of devotees hailing from different parts of UT prominently from Mendhar,Poonch, Nowshera, Sunderbani Kalakote,  Udhampur, Kathua and Jammu Punjab besides some other places.

During the entire yatra route, devotees performed various dance with drum beats and chanted bhajans in favour of Lord Krishna with zeal and gaiety.
The Yatra passed through various locations and covered areas like Bustand, Main Bazar, Old Bustand Bazar and others stand and finally culminated at Hanuman Mandir  where “Shrimad Bhagwat Tatva Gyan Yagya (Bhagwat Katha)” is being organised. The members of Hindu Community,Sanatan Dharam Sabha and Anjani nandan Charitable trust management Committe Mendhar welcomed Swamiji and devotees by showering flowers. Later, parshad was distributed among the devotees.

“Balram Sharma, President of Sanatan Dharma Sabha Mendhar, said that the Katha has started from today, whose bhog will be offered on Hanuman Jayanti Foundation Day on 6th July.  He said that on 6th July, Shani Dev temple would also be inaugurated in which idols would be installed while huge Bhandara  Puja recitation would also be done.  
During the Kalash Yatra, the local administration officials, including Block Medical Officer Dr Parvez Khan, SHO Mendhar Inspector Manzoor Kohli, Sub Inspector Gulshan Partap Singh, ITBP and Indian Army ,prominent Citizens and others  were with the support.
